Salimah Gillani is the founder of Northern Lights Yoga based in Kuujjuaq, Nunavik. Salimah is a certified 200 hour yoga instructor and certified Yoga for Youth instructor. She has taken trainings with a wide variety of teachers with the Empowered Youth Initiative with Off the Mat in Los Angeles and Yoga in Service leadership trainings in New York, Madagascar, New Zealand, Canada, and the United States. She has coordinated numerous community yoga classes in Kuujjuaq, Kangiqsualujjuaq, and Ivujivik. In 2013, the Nunavik Regional Board for Health and Social Services and the Kativik School Board partnered with Northern Lights Yoga to bring yoga tools for health and wellbeing into the workplace. Grace Jull, MA, LMT, has been leading workshops since 1986 and is a well-loved faculty member in Kripalu’s Professional Training Department. She has been described as “the Mary Oliver of the yoga mat” and is gifted at eloquently weaving science, movement, and the evolution of each individual and collective encounter. Grace remains an avid student and teacher of embryology, osteopathic principles, biodynamic anatomy, yoga, WATSU®, and massage, and was honored with a term as Scholar-In-Residence at Kripalu in 2008. She practices aquatic bodywork, massage, nd yoga in the Berkshires, Boston, and New York. Grace piloted the yoga for youth program in the Ulurriaq school in Kangiqsualujjuaq and has taught community classes and yoga for the Cirqniq social circus program in Kuujjuaq.

Jurian Hughes, E-RYT500, MFA, is a Director of the Kripalu School of Yoga and a senior faculty member at Kripalu, where she teaches on the staffs of Healthy Living, guest yoga, Retreat and Renewal, and the 200- and 500-hour Kripalu Yoga Teacher Training programs. A graduate of Williams College and New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, She leads programs and trainings at Kripalu and throughout the country that draw on her years of experience as a committed practitioner and teacher of yoga, dance, movement, and theater. Jurian taught community classes in Ivujivik, Kangiqsualujjuaq, and Kuujjuaq from 2011 – 2013. In collaboration with the Nunavik Regional Board of Health and Social Services and the Kativik School Board, Jurian ran the highly successful Yoga for Empowered Youth training for teachers at the Ulluriaq school in Kangiqsualujjuaq in October 2012. Sudha Carolyn Lundeen, RN, E-RYT 500, is a senior teacher at Kripalu Center, where she leads a variety of workshops, including 200- and 500-hour-level teacher trainings. Her Kripalu Gentle Yoga DVD has won three prestigious awards. She works with clients privately as well as leads workshops internationally in group and corporate settings. Sudha’s 12 years in clinical nursing lends a sensitivity and broad knowledge base to her teaching style, which is described as welcoming, humorous, and healing. Sherry Ryan LMT, RYT is the founder of Providence Healing Arts, a Yoga Studio & alternative healing center in Providence, RI. She has over 20 years of experience in the study of Traditional Five Element Theory and Ayurveda.
